- Engineered Wood- composed of wood fibers that are bonded with synthetic resins under heat and pressure to form boards.
- Flat Panel- a recessed center panel to a door or a drawer.
- Full Overlay- cabinet door styles that cover most of the face frame.
- Glaze- a coating that enhances wood color and tone.
- Hutch- a free standing furniture cabinet unit. Also know as China cabinets.
- Medium Fiber Density (MDF)- engineered wood with an extremely tight and smooth surface.
- Muslin- semi transparent finish usually used for oak, hickory, cherry, birch, and pine cabinets.
- Recessed Doors- flat panel held inside the perimeter of the door.
- Stain- an alternative to paint that is used to color and cover the surface of cabinets .
- Thermofoil- 100% solid colored vinyl. It has a solid opaque coloration that is easy to clean and maintain.
